Owlmansketch

so, this works as a companion to my Johnny Quick piece. and just like that piece, i wanted Owl's physical appearance reflect the ugliness of his character.

the back story in my head as i was drawing this goes like this....

the Bruce Wayne of this planet, not only had his parents killed...but was horribly disfigured by Joe Chill as well.in this world however, young bruce kills Joe Chill and thus survives his attack.

this Bruce walks away from this event with a disdain for his parents....hating them because they were too weak to protect him from their assailant. this grows into a predator prey view of the world, which is a slippery slope into the world of baddies.
